Elementary Network Meeting/October 2007
Hello UDLers!
As promised, linked below is my Technology Time PowerPoint from the October Elementary UDL Network Meeting. I had a great time working with you and hope you found the session helpful!
Technology Time PowerPoint Show
Use it! Share it! Love it!
Anything underlined in the ppt show should be an active hyperlink, i.e. a clickable link to something else on the Internet. Click it and go! I know ya’ll like having paper handouts and lists. Please know that my intention is not to be difficult, rather to lovingly push you. And you are not the first group of teachers who I’ve forced to go to the Web and use other electronic means to get to the stuff I recommend. Meanie - right!
Truly, my intention is to help you and to assist you in using the Web more for communicating, accessing technology resources, using technology resources and saving technology resources in places that are convenient and available 4/7. We contract with Ideas Unleashed (and appreciate the excellent work they do) to maintain our blog server and data. Barring any major chaos over at LCCC, you should be able to access these resources on this blog from any place that has basic Internet access - at anytime!*
You will notice in the ppt that we did not get to the Web .0 information, but you are welcome to browse it. I will revisit Web .0 in our next meeting because Web .0 is Where it’s At. (Poor English, I know, but I luv the song!)
If you’re interested in Web .0, take a peek at this 5-minute video. It’s cool!
Then try the video responses - video responses- OMG - I am SO loving the Internet today!
Yours in Technology, Kate B.
*If someone (person or school building) has ongoing problems with regular Internet connectivity, please LMK and I will send paper copies for special cases.
