This is my first attempt at responding to a blog.  Hope it works!

Thanks to you and Jeff for a great first day to the UDL Institute.  I learned a lot and added to my tool kit.

I played a little with some text to speech tools and struggled a bit.  I will need more help. I believe the teams will need some formally scheduled time with you folks to experience what good text to speech software and activities look like.

I really liked the Deep Dive activity.  All teachers should view this as an example of what collaboration should look like. It has powerful ramifications for grade level, department, and CIP team meetings.

I also think the Human Consensogram has great potential with a large staff.  Imagine "the can of worms" that would be opened if a principal graphed his or her staff on the grading questions you posed to our group today!  That would be fun!

Kudos to you and Jeff.  I hope this entry works!
